Document version: 1.16.0
This Refund Policy applies to the ThemeGet marketplace operated by ThemeGet.
Fair review for digital purchases. A standard request should be submitted within 14 calendar days of order approval. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
1. Scope
This policy applies to digital products purchased through the ThemeGet checkout. It does not replace a separate written agreement, a product-specific warranty or a legal right that cannot be excluded. Digital files can be copied after delivery and cannot be physically returned, so each request is reviewed using the order record, listing, delivered package, support history and applicable law.
2. Requests normally eligible for review
- Payment was approved but the protected download was not made available.
- The delivered archive is corrupt, empty or materially incomplete and a working replacement is not supplied.
- The product materially differs from the published description, platform, compatibility, version, included files or licence scope.
- The same order was charged more than once and the duplicate is verified.
- A confirmed security threat, malware finding or intellectual-property complaint requires withdrawal of the product.
- The seller cannot provide a file or licence that the listing expressly promised.
- Applicable law requires a refund, cancellation or other remedy.
3. Requests normally not eligible
- A change of mind, accidental purchase or preference after download access was granted, except where law provides otherwise.
- Failure to review clearly disclosed compatibility, required software, hosting requirements, dependencies, licence scope or support period.
- Lack of technical skill or refusal to follow the supplied installation instructions.
- A defect caused by buyer modification, unsupported customisation, third-party code, hosting configuration or an external service.
- A feature, integration, update or support service that was not promised on the product page.
- Account sharing, unauthorised redistribution, licence misuse, false payment evidence, abusive chargebacks or another material policy breach.
4. Time limit
Submit a standard request within 14 calendar days after the order becomes approved. A hidden security defect, later-confirmed infringement or mandatory legal claim should be reported promptly after discovery. The configured time limit does not shorten rights that applicable law gives for a longer period.
5. Information required
Provide the order reference, account email, product URL, payment reference, a clear explanation, relevant screenshots or logs and the troubleshooting steps already attempted. Do not publish protected files, licence keys, personal data or exploit details in a public review.
6. Seller correction period
Where the issue appears correctable, the seller may receive up to 5 calendar days to provide the missing file, patch, instructions or lawful replacement. ThemeGet may shorten or skip this period for malware, confirmed infringement, fraud, unavailable sellers or urgent legal and security risks.
7. Review and possible outcomes
ThemeGet may request more evidence, test the package, consult the seller, approve a full refund, approve a proportionate partial refund, provide corrected access, offer an agreed replacement or reject the request with a reason. A decision may consider whether the core product remains usable, whether the listing was accurate, whether a correction was supplied and whether either party breached marketplace rules.
8. Refund route, fees and exchange rates
An approved refund is sent through the original method when reasonably available, or through another verified method agreed by the operator. Payment-provider fees, blockchain fees, currency-conversion differences and bank processing times may be outside ThemeGet’s control. ThemeGet will not request a password, one-time code or private wallet key to process a refund.
9. Chargebacks and payment disputes
Contact support before starting a chargeback when possible so the order can be investigated. A chargeback does not automatically prove refund eligibility. Fraudulent, duplicate or abusive disputes may result in restricted downloads, withheld seller earnings, account suspension and recovery of reasonable losses where lawful.
10. Effect of an approved refund
Download access and licence rights for the refunded portion may be revoked. The buyer must stop using, publishing, transferring and distributing the refunded product and delete retained copies, unless applicable law or a written settlement states otherwise. Seller earnings connected to the order may be reversed.
11. Abuse prevention and fair treatment
Requests are evaluated consistently without discrimination. Fabricated defects, altered evidence, threats, review manipulation, repeated download-and-refund behaviour or attempts to keep both the product and the payment may lead to rejection and account action. Genuine good-faith complaints will not be penalised merely because a refund is denied.
12. Statutory rights
Nothing in this policy excludes or limits consumer protections, fraud remedies or other rights that cannot legally be waived. Where this policy conflicts with mandatory law, the mandatory law controls.
